El Soldado - Sizer while Tipping

One of our most exciting projects is the Particle Size Analyser (PSA) system at the El Soldado Mine in Chile!

Our scope included working on the portal frame design, a civil and structural frame with a mechanical (FEA Analysis) boom, and a gearbox that needs to rotate. Different equipment gets mounted on the new structure; thus, we had to do a thermal hydraulic analysis to provide positive air to the equipment. After finalising all calculations, we produced a 3D model with manufacturing drawings and work instructions for the site.
